Europe must navigate its position amidst a trans-Atlantic and a Eurasian future, with the prevailing trend shaping its internal cohesion and fabric.

Europe must navigate its position between two potential futures: one transatlantic, one Eurasian. Whichever trend prevails will shape its social fabric and internal cohesion.

Since 2014, the Vaduz Roundtable has held discussions around establishing a comprehensive global conceptual framework to address transformative geopolitical divisions.

These divisions include Europe’s internal challenges, its evolving relationship with the United States, its shared future with Russia, and its role as a global power. All of this is unfolding within a quadrilateral global competition involving the U.S., China, Russia and Europe.

Effective communication between these global competitors necessitates trust and confidentiality. Vaduz embodies this spirit and has proven conducive to fostering bold exchanges free from ideological constraints. The roundtables, limited to approximately 25 participants from around the world, consist of influential officials and prominent thought leaders engaged in shaping strategic decisions. Through a combination of core members and fresh faces, these roundtables have evolved into an ongoing process that facilitates the inclusion of specialized expertise and novel perspectives.
